I think it's less of a problem that way around although the shafts may disengage if you use full travel of the suspension, which may result in catastrophic failure on the short shaft side of it doesn't re-engage correctly. Using it the other way around will cause damage pretty quickly though as there would be no movement/play in the shaft, the bearings would start leaking and fail pretty quick.

@@thefattysplace Buy steering wheel with force feedback and it will be like driving a real car that's it they dirt cheep and to the second question you never played forza horizon 4 play it and youll see that cars look as realistic if not more realistic than real life cars

Both the dpf and cat are removed. Yes leaving the cat makes a difference, and can't see why you would as it's all in one unit

@@extec101 iirc I thought it was a bit short because the lines on the sun type clip didn't line up with the lines on the driveshaft when pushed in fully to the gearbox. Apparently though there was nothing wrong with it and that sun washer thing is just a guard.

@@thefattysplace yes that is correct the washer is just a protector for the oil seal behind it. i did fix the right drive shaft on my car today the boot where shoot so thats why i took a look after i did the job how other have done to take apart ther cars. the easyest way is to loosen the two bolts in the strut to the spindel and fiddle out the driveshaft. lots of folks unbolt the whole strut assembly balljoint and steering rod, whay to much work.

He checks but he can't see is been modified on mine as I have a heat shield around the dpf. It's a cut and shut at the weld job. Both car and dpf removed.

@@thefattysplace Got mines done today, big difference in torque and sound but doesnt sound as loud as yours. Did you go full custom stainless steel? I've just chopped the back boxes off and welded pipes on the end. I guess the manual diesel can hit the rev limit? Mines is auto and hits about 2.5k rpm.

@@DrummerDaz91 it sounds louder from outside the car, and you have to be moving. The only way to hear it properly when not moving (without vcds) is to unplug the electrics going to the turbo, else it remains closed as the car knows no power is needed.

@@muk4213 have you tried using an external directional microphone? External microphones will generally give better sound quality, and a directional one will help you capture the sound of the car rather than that car+everything else. You can also use something else to record the audio and muxx them together later in post filming

Gutted dpf to pass mot visuals and back boxes modified with straight through pipes. I found that with the dpf on and just the back boxes done, there was very little difference to stock.

@@MTBrUS hmm ok. It's worth noting that it doesn't sound that loud driving the car, but from outside it sounds as the video. Get someone else to drive your car and you'll see what I mean. Also you won't get any good exhaust note from just reving the engine as the turbo is closed (which is why you get the hiss sound at idle). You can test the sound by reving it if you disconnect the turbo controller, which then leaves the turbo in the open position upon starting.

Jack Borland the same sound increased in pitch with the engine speed.

last atmo is the 458 do your research last atmo with manual is 430
